My kids loved this recipe! I am using organic, unsweetened Greek yogurt for its health benefits and probiotic cultures. When buying yogurt, you ALWAYS want to avoid the added sugar ones. Not all yogurt is the same, and not all yogurt has probiotic benefits (even if they advertise it does). I also love using coconut yogurt for a dairy free option.
We sweetened ours with agave, but you can also use honey or pure maple syrup (make sure the ingredients say pure maple syrup and no other added ingredients).
They loved dipping strawberries, blueberries, apples and bananas in this!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 package of cream cheese (4oz)
- 4 oz Organic, unsweetened Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 cup Agave or Honey (sweeten to your taste)
Directions:
Add everything to a bowl and mix with an electric mixer until everything is creamy and combined. There may still be a few small lumps of cream cheese, but my kids never seemed to mind.
